Frequently Asked Questions

So, you want to learn a little bit more, I don’t blame you. Here are some of the top questions I receive. If you have a question not answered on this page, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

  • Due to my personal life choices for internet safety, I will provide the same for you. It's a tricky situation to be in as a family photographer, I need to share my images for my portfolio to show other families how I can preserve their memories.

But I also need to keep your family safe, I will not tag you in any photos (I will repost if you tag me, and appreciate all the tags and support) or share the names of your family members on the internet.

  • As a mama who is obsessed with birth, and now has given birth twice. I went on and become a trained DONA doula and a VBAC certified doula. I do offer very limited doula services, about 4 births a year. However, if you hire me as a doula OR a photographer, you have access to my birth book library. Most of the books were donated to me by a very kind friend. You basically "check-out" the book and return it to me within 2 months.

    Books include:

+ Ina May Guide to Childbirth

+ Transformed by Birth: Cultivating Openness, Strength, and Resilience for the Life-Changing Journey from Pregnancy to Parenthood by Britta Bushnell, PhD

+ The First Forty Days: The Essential Art of Nourishing the New Mother by Heng Ou

+ The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding

    + The Birth Partner

  • For births, I require a 25% non-refundable retainer of your total invoice to reserve your date upon booking. The remaining 75% is due 2 weeks before your estimated due date.

For sessions, I require payment in full at the time of booking.

  • I'm located Saint George, Utah but my home is basically in Arizona.

Saint George is 41 miles away from Zion National Park and 2 hours away from Viva Las Vegas. There are plenty of beautiful locations near by that are easy to travel to. One of the great things of living in So. Utah is being near 5 national parks, mountains, red rock and the desert.

  • For family sessions you will receive your images 1-2 weeks after your session.

For your birth images, I will send some sneak peeks within 12 hours of returning home. I know how exciting it is to have welcomed your sweet little baby into the world and you want to show it off. The rest of your gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks. If your date is during a particular busy time, I will let you know beforehand if it will go past the time. But that hasn't happened yet!

  • I aim to deliver the very least 35 images an hour, it is all depended on what is happening during the time I am spending with your family or with you during your birth experience. I assure you that I will be capturing the details that makes your session unique.

  • Do you ever just reminisce about joyful, or painful memories? You just relive all the smells, the sounds, the feelings that you felt in that moment? Sometimes my images are blurry because I want you feel what was being felt. Life goes by in a blur, moments are not in perfect vision
